An oily skin facial mask helps to reduce oily skin, shrinks pores, and ultimately prevents pimples or acne. The facial recipes below use all natural ingredients for those who desire natural skin care for their oily skin problem.
Apply natural unflavored yogurt to the face. Honey and/or oatmeal may be added if desired. Leave on the skin for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with clean warm water.
Make a paste using the yeast and a small amount of warm water. Apply to the face for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off.
Apply mashed or sliced tomatoes to the face for about 15 minutes to reduce the size of skin pores.
Mix elder flower herb with yogurt to make a paste and apply to the face for a few minutes.
Squeeze half a lemon and mix the juice with one beaten egg white. Apply to the face avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave on the face overnight or if used during the day, for about 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Mix the yogurt, lemon juice, orange juice, and carrot juice together. Apply the mixture to the face and leave it on the skin for about 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water and pat dry the face with a clean towel.
Purée all the above ingredients together in a blender and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Apply the mixture to the face and leave on for approximately 15 minutes. Rinse with hot, then cool water.
Massage the clean face gently with the dry cornmeal. Rinse off. Then apply a mask made by whipping the eggs and brushing on the face. Leave on for 20 minutes and then rinse off.
Mix the grated apple and the honey well. Smooth over the skin and let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
Mix the above ingredients and add enough water to make a paste. Apply to the face for about 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse.
Option 1 Apply raw grated carrots to the face while lying down. A little lemon juice may also be added.
Option 2 Boil three large carrots and mash them with a fork. Alternatively, you can puree the carrots in food processor. Add five tablespoons of honey or yogurt (optional). Apply gently, in an upward motion to the face. Leave on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Finish with a final rinse of witch hazel.
