My nine year old daughter went to a school dance a week after recuperating from the flu. About an hour after she was at the dance she started getting a leg rash with small red bumps on her ankles and up her legs but they did not itch. Shortly after coming home her left ankle started to swell. I gave her Benadryl and put cream on her leg rash as well as soaking her ankle in hot water. We went to the hospital the next day when her knee was swollen as well and the spots were moving up her back (the spots still did not itch and actually never started to itch) and it hurt for her to walk. The doctor said it was an auto immune disorder and called it HDS but I cannot find anything on this. The doctor said that the rash on legs would go away and it was her body shutting down after being sick but she is alright now and it will go away soon. The problem is that it keeps coming back. Any time she is playing or running around for a little while the red welts on her legs come back.
Does anyone have any clue what these leg rashes can be? It has been almost a month now and they keep coming back. Please help.

I am 13 years old and I have these little tiny spots on my lower and upper legs and no matter how much I exfoliate and moisterize they just stay there. They go away a bit when I am cold but when material touches my legs they go horribly red. Does any one have any sugestions about this leg rash because its really embarrassing! Thank you.

I have a problem with the skin on my leg area. I notice that every time I shave it gets irritated and then I'd scratch it until it peels and leaves ugly dark discoloration marks on my legs. They look like old sores.
The marks take forever to heal and it is just so visible I can't stand wearing shorts or a skirt! I noticed the women on my dads side of the family have ugly legs also but some do not shave. Could this be hereditary?
I need to know a good quick way to get rid of these discoloration marks and make my legs look flawless. This problem started when I was a teen and I am now 35 years old.

I have a rash on the top of my inner thighs that is slightly reddish and feels a little rough but it is not itchy. I have an appointment with a dermatologist but I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of rash. It is very uncomfortable.
I believe it may have started when I was away in August of this year at a cottage on a lake where it was very hot with no air conditioning. Also, it may have started in the groin area because it was reddish with small bumps in the crease of the thigh. But that area is much better but now this reddish flat rash has appeared.

I get these reddish patches on the back of my calves. They are not itchy at all, however, if I start to scratch it, they start to itch. It is easy for me not to scratch but sometimes, I forget. I take six medications as listed below:
Metformin is an oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels.
Valsartan/hydrochlorothiazide is used for treating my high blood pressure.
Allopurinol is used to treat gout or kidney stones.
Glimepiride is an oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels.
Fenofibrate helps reduce cholesterol and triglycerides (fatty acids) in the blood.
Carvedilol is used to treat heart failure and hypertension (high blood pressure).

I've had these spots for over 3 weeks. The doctor was unsure about them and therefore I had a full blood count and it came back clear. I was then given antibiotics, finished the course, and still no change. I have also applied fucidin and lyclear and still no change. The first sign when it appears, usually looks like a spot. Some of them look like blood blisters. Can anyone advise?

I developed this rash on my lower left leg. It does not itch but it is red, tender, and sore. Any idea what it may be?
I am 59 years old and I recently started getting a very itchy rash on my right shin. The first time I got the rash, it lasted about a month and then IT went away for a few months. The second time, the rash occurred on the same shin/ankle but about a week later, I started getting in on my upper chest and the back of my neck. I went to a doctor who told me it was eczema and game me some steroids which cleared the rash in about three or four days. Unfortunately, that only lasted a couple of weeks and now it is back again. I am at my wits end. I have thought hard about it and cannot think of any new food or product that I have been using. I am not sure where to turn next.
